On Arrival

How to Move Into Your Room

Per NPU's lodging regulations, every new student follows the same five-step move-in process.

  1. Step 1 · Pay Annual Fees
Pay the annual housing fee at the International Student Management Office. Single = 900 RMB × 12, Twin/Triple = 600 RMB × 12.
  2. Step 2 · Pay Deposit
A refundable deposit is collected before keys are issued. The amount is set by the management office.
  3. Step 3 · Collect Check-In Notice
Receive a written check-in notice from the International Student Management Office showing your assigned building, floor, and room number.
  4. Step 4 · Inspect & Sign In
At the dormitory front desk, inspect facilities together with management staff. Damage existing on arrival must be reported now to avoid liability later.
  5. Step 5 · Receive Keys
Once inspection is complete, you'll receive your keys. Lock changes, key copying, and lending keys are not permitted.
