Visa, Documents, and Travel Questions

The most common questions students ask between receiving the admission notice and boarding the flight to Xi'an.

Programs of 180 days or more require an X1 visa; shorter stays use an X2 visa. X1 holders must convert to a Residence Permit within 30 days of arrival.

Can the university pick me up at the airport?

Pickup is offered only during designated registration days announced in the admission package. Outside those windows, follow the routes on the Transportation page.
