Getting from the Airport or Station to NPU

NPU Youyi Campus
Almost all international student services and the International College office are at the Youyi campus.
Address: 127 Youyi Xilu, Beilin District, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, 710072. Look for the West Gate (西门) or South Gate (南门) when arriving by taxi.
Xianyang International Airport
From Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY)
The airport is roughly 36 kilometers from NPU. Three common routes:
Option 1 · Taxi (Direct)
Take a taxi straight from the airport to NPU. Distance ≈ 36 km, fare around 100 RMB. Show the driver: 西北工业大学友谊校区 — 友谊西路127号.
Option 2 · Airport Shuttle + City Bus
Airport shuttle to Xishaomen (西稍门) — 25 RMB. Then board city bus 24, 202, or 503 to the XiGongDa stop (西工大站) — 2 RMB.
Option 3 · Airport Shuttle + Taxi
Airport shuttle to Xishaomen (西稍门) — 25 RMB. Then a short taxi to NPU's West Gate or South Gate — about 8–10 RMB.
Xi'an North Railway Station
From Xi'an North High-Speed Railway Station
Xi'an North (Beike Zhan / 北客站) is roughly 16.5 km from NPU.
Option 1 · Taxi (Direct)
Distance ≈ 16.5 km, fare around 41 RMB.
Option 2 · Subway
Take Subway Line 2 from Beike Zhan (北客站) to Nanshaomen (南稍门), then transfer to Subway Line 5 to Northwestern Polytechnical University (西北工业大学站). Total fare around 5 RMB.
Xi'an Railway Station
From Xi'an Railway Station
Xi'an Railway Station is about 9.1 km from NPU.
Option 1 · Taxi (Direct)
Distance ≈ 9.1 km, fare around 22 RMB.
Option 2 · Subway
Take Subway Line 4 from Wulukou (五路口) to XAUAT/Lijiacun (建大·李家村), then transfer to Subway Line 5 to Northwestern Polytechnical University. Total fare around 3 RMB.
